Supercinema Award

The Supercinema Award for the Laceno d’Oro Film Festival recognizes the value of a film’s artistic direction.
It is an award dedicated to design in cinema, encompassing everything from set design and its interior solutions to the props featured in the film, the design of texts and end credits, and all the elements that contribute to the overall aesthetic of the film.

The role of design in cinema has long transcended individual departments, becoming a key element that supports and expands the narrative, permeating every aspect of the cinematic work.

The Supercinema Award Jury

The multidisciplinary jury for the Supercinema Award at the Laceno d’Oro Film Festival is composed of experts from the worlds of cinema, design, and visual arts.
With a diversity of perspectives, the jury evaluates the film’s aesthetics and visual storytelling, acknowledging the essential role of design in the language of cinema.

Among the numerous applications to the Laceno d’Oro Film Festival, nine works have been selected to form the Official Shortlist for the Supercinema Award.

The selection process adhered to the award’s key criteria: meticulous attention to set design, communicative strength, and aesthetic consistency throughout the film.

These nine works successfully integrated these elements, creating original visual universes where every artistic choice enhances the narrative’s impact.
